Corn on the Cob

  • 6 ears of corn

  • Lay inside the pot. I used the rack that came with it. You may have to break some ears in half. Stagger them to allow steam to pass through.
  •  Add 1 cup of water.
  • Point the steam release to SEALING
  • Press the manual button for 8 minutes
  • Use Quick release. That’s all you do. The corn never touches the water.

How long should I pressure cook frozen 1/2 ears of corn, should they be on rack and how much water, thanks

    Instant Pot Staff Reply:

We use the steam rack to avoid leaching out nutrient in the corn and pressure cooker for 5~6 minutes.

I’m a new at this. Do you use high or low pressure when you use the manual button for the corn

    Jean Montambeault Reply:

Using the manual method defaults to high pressure. Work fine
